How to Make Your Makeup Last All Day: Eyeshadow Primer and Fixing Spray
To make makeup last all day, use a primer under it and a fixing (setting) spray over it. The primer helps eyeshadow hold on to the lid, and the spray sets the finished look in place.
What does an eyeshadow primer do?
An eyeshadow primer is a base you apply on bare eyelids before eyeshadow, so the colour lasts longer, looks more vibrant and stays crease-free. The GR Eyeshadow Primer is sheer and lightweight, glides on smoothly and dries invisibly.
How to use it: apply a thin layer on clean, bare lids, wait 30 seconds, then apply your eye makeup as usual.
What does a makeup fixing spray do?
A fixing spray is misted over finished makeup to keep it in place for longer. The Golden Rose Make-Up Fixing Spray 120 ml has a lightweight, non-sticky formula that dries quickly to an invisible finish without drying the skin.
How to use it: shake the bottle well, hold it 20–25 cm from your face, spray a few times with your eyes closed, then let it dry.
In what order do I use them?
Step | What to do | Product |
|---|---|---|
1 | Skincare, then let it sink in | Your usual moisturiser |
2 | Prime bare eyelids, wait 30 seconds | GR Eyeshadow Primer |
3 | Foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, lips | Your makeup |
4 | Mist over the finished look, let it dry | Make-Up Fixing Spray |
